No Bullock, Dench AND Thompson in best actress is pretty surprising, and Greengrass continues to get snubbed.

12 Years A Slave is to slavery movies what Schindler's List is to Holocaust movies- uncompromisingly brutal and raw, incredibly well made, and absolutely awe inspiring. Well deserving of every win. That said, it's my favorite movie of the year so far, and even I think it'll be boring if it sweeps, so I can imagine how everyone else feels (though NBR, NYCC, and LAFCC are the majors, and it didn't win any of those).
