The Panda
Post and discuss your favorite and least favorite villains of the year. Mine, "Number 5 Worst - Delacourt, Elysium Delacourt was possibly one of the worst performances Jodie Foster has given, not only this but her character was a complete throwaway of a villain. This is a cardboard cutout who was put up as one of the leads of the movie, yet then again the entire movie was filled with cardbord cutouts, to serve only the purpose of further hammering down the themes that Blomkamp was 'subtly' trying to make sure was shoved down the entire audience's throat by the time they left the theater. Best - The Nuns, Philomena I know in the movie Philomena makes her point that not all the nuns were bad, and that they weren't evil, but it doesn't stop them from being the complete villains from the story. What makes them such good villains is that you barely even need to see them to know their presence and impact, hauntingly evil actions that the nuns justified as righteous and holy. What's even more shocking is that the nuns who took Anthony away from Philomena in the movie were real, their actions were real, and their crimes went unpaid for." The rest of mine is at http://thepandaflicksreviews.blogspot.com/2013/12/top-10-villains-of-2013.html Post yours here.
Jessie
The Worst - Smaug - Hobbit 2So he's a great big dragon and spends most of his time asleep. When he finally wakes to a much of dwarfs running all round him trying to kill him, he cant kill a single one of them with his huge breath of fire? If I was that dragon they would have been fucked. I would have managed to kill them all as soon as I realised something was fishy. It's like a human trying to kill an ant with a blow torch, not hard. The Best - Danny Mcbride - This is the End.first if all, the guy was quite clearly unwelcome in James Francis House yet when food supply was running low he still had the cheek to eat most of the food and even one point waste their water which could have been a key point for survival. During a blackout like this, things can get boring. With no electricity there's no Internet and with no Internet there's no porn meaning the only way anyone could have masturbated during these tough times would have been with a porno mag which Mcbride unforgivably ejaculates all over ruining the fun for everybody. The guy was a little shit, even tried shooting his mates yet after all the annoyance he gave to franco, he went and ate him at the end. The guy even had Channum Tatum as his pet bitch. Best movie villain of the year...
Films
Im putting the best in spoiler alert as it is a recent film who is not know as the villian Hans- Frozen. A really good villian who's pretending to be all nice but all he really wants is to be king and the scene where he exposes himself to Ana was shocking as it looked like they were going to have their true love kiss to save ana. And then he tries to pretend he was amazing as ana and elsa both survive but they get rid of him from Erindale. A fantastic and surprising villian Worst- Matt Lucas- The Harry Hill MovieThis film is probably in the worst 10 movies I have ever seen in my life and this villian was the worst character. Really, the less said about this film, the better Edited December 24, 2013 by Frozen2013
Jessie
Seriously though, I think Shartlo Copley gave us the best villain this year, he was so entertaining to watch and Elysium s massive hype has made the movie hugely underrated on this site IMO Edited December 24, 2013 by Jessie

rukaio101
I'll admit, even though I loved Thor 2, I was struggling to think of a villain I'd call worse than Malekith (although there are plenty as forgettable). Then I remembered Viper from The Wolverine. Problem solved. As for best, either the Kaiju from Pacific Rim, Muse from Captain Phillips or Griffith from Berserk: The Golden Age Arc III: Descent Most 'Love to Absolutely Despise' villains are the nuns from Philomena. Jack Nevada
Muse was great. He's a "shades of grey" villain. You could where he ws coming from and why he did the things he did.
The Panda
I'll admit, even though I loved Thor 2, I was struggling to think of a villain I'd call worse than Malekith (although there are plenty as forgettable). Then I remembered Viper from The Wolverine. Problem solved. As for best, either the Kaiju from Pacific Rim, Muse from Captain Phillips or Griffith from Berserk: The Golden Age Arc III: Descent Most 'Love to Absolutely Despise' villains are the nuns from Philomena. Yeah, I nearly put Malekith on my list, but I figured just forgettable was better than a villain that just stuck out as bad to me.

WORST [*]Delacourt in Elysium - A highly cartoonish and one-dimensional villian SIMULTANEOUSLY BEST AND WORST [*]The Wicked Witch of the West in Oz: The Great & Powerful - SO MUCH HAM.
