That's the benefit of holidays. Most movies hold great during the next 2 weeks and really inflate their grosses.

Competition doesn't matter, only thing that really does matter is the screen count and in this case, it just opened it'll maintain TC no matter what.

No idea. It just never happened. I felt the ending is a bit rushed.
