Transformers Age of Extinction: 1.05B (300 mil in China!!)

Recommended Posts

Oh, be serious. Just because your fav franchises won't ever touch those numbers it doesn't mean they are a 'threat to fumanity'. LOL. If people would not love these movies they would not make that kind of $$$. And win against Bay? What? It's all about money. For some reason, people seem to believe that the US market is the driving force for all movies. That's not the case anymore which is very good, considering that people all over the world have different taste in movies.

Even MB continues with 5th one, audiences will still go and watch.

>Transformers: Age of Extinction opened with ¥485,281,100 ($4.7 million) with 302,992 admissions on 760 screens. This marks the lowest opening weekend in the Transformers franchise, but it's still pretty good.

According to BOM Frozen at #5 with $873.5. Can TF4 make more than that?

Nah. It added 22M this week. I can see it finishing around 850M. Still incredible. Avengers (the assemble) aside, there's no currently running franchise that can match it.
