if anyone told me 2 months back that Jumanji would finish within 20m of Star Wars I would have have laughed at them. But ....

Very close for the full week. Looks like TGS was #1 for Monday to Wednesday.

At this rate, Jumanji has a chance at 50m... this weekend is the first real test now that the kiddies are back at school. Over 45m already after a weekly total of 3m   of interest, Star Wars TLJ is over 57m...   didn't see that coming within 10m by the looks is how close Jumanji will get....  Which also means Jumanji has an solid shot of being 2nd biggest film released in 2017 behind only Star Wars TLJ.  (calendar grosses it won't rate as high of course..  BATB made it to nearly 48m which you think, Jumanji will pass now given it's above 45m.
