For the Wednesday previews of BP to show up in the weekly top 10 for this week it looks like it will need about $550,000+.

I think they just didn't report the BP numbers. If you click the link, it says that it has already done 3.11M total. Same thing for the NZ numbers; it did 298k before Thursday, which should've been more than enough to get it on the chart.

Normally previews show up in the weekly chart.  Looks like they didn't this time.

 

A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.

 

Tuesday night very limited advance screens + Wednesday night previews from 6pm = AUD1.36m (TR AUD0.789m for WED previews from 8pm)

 

Thursday OD AUD1.75m (TR AUD1.766)

 

If it follow TR it should be just over AUD10m for the weekend and a cume of AUD11.5m by Sunday.

Yes should end up just over 10 WE, Previews were reported MPDAA chart. It varies on if previews get reported pre opening or not until after.

10m (11.5m cume) + is a very good start here. Not quite at the US level but comic book films rarely match the US. (Normally our OW x 10 = US OW). 

 

On on its own I’m impressed as 1 of the largest solo first films openings for a marvel film. BUT compared to US a little on the disappointing side (not totally surprised though)
