So-so for Star Wars. Barely above Rogue One. Not sure how much of that is to do with the calendar. Really impressive numbers for Jumanji though.

 

The three way fight of Ferdinand vs Paddington vs Coco is just gonna end up hurting all of them by the looks of things.

It seems to be partly the alignment of the holidays and Jumanji being a film for a wider range of the family then the films last year. 

 

Still, it’s pretty much tracking even with RO now.

Jumanji was #1 Thursday to Sunday. PP3 opened on top on NYD but Jumanji returned to #1 for Tuesday/Wednesday.

Slight difference between here and Domestic is that Jumanji opened on Day 13 of TLJ in Australia vs Day 6 Domestic.

What happened to The Last Jedi in Australia? It's performing well in every other typical Star Wars stronghold market (UK, Germany, France, Japan) and yet in Australia, where Star Wars usually performs as well as in any of those markets, it's fallen behind Rogue One in its 4th weekend.

Jumanji looks like finishing at around USD400m equivalent to Domestic. PP3 and TGS are heading for around USD175-200m equivalent.  TLJ is heading for around USD600m.

40m + seems on the cards for Jumanji.... TLJ while nothing to sneeze at, I really feel that it has underperformed against expectations.  still fantastic though!
