~6.8m weekend. Last year NWH did 7.2m with boxing day on Sunday, so that seems pretty good.

With Christmas Eve and Day factored in, I’m ok with that.
Monday and Tuesday are both public holiday so the full week should hold really nicely

Does anyone have access to Avatar’s run? I’d love a comparison of both on weekends and full weeks.

Avatar (2009) Avatar: The Way of Water
WE Drop %       WE Drop %
Pre A$ 945,022     Pre A$ 1,846,552
OW A$ 11,989,770   A$ 12,934,792 OW A$ 14,743,196   A$ 16,589,748
1st WD A$ 7,363,325   A$ 20,298,117 1st WD A$ 7,008,013   A$ 23,597,761
2nd WEnd A$ 8,757,896 -26.96% A$ 29,056,013 2nd WEnd A$ 7,154,949 -51.47% A$ 30,752,710
2nd WD A$ 9,756,641   A$ 38,812,654 2nd WD
3rd WEnd A$ 9,667,634 10.39% A$ 48,480,288 3rd WEnd

It's way better drop than TFA's 57% or Rogue One'/NWH's 70% drops. Just Don't compare with 1st Avatar~

Thanks so much for this.
I’m in no way looking at A1 and thinking TWOW is disappointing. More of a curiosity to see how long it takes TWOW to fall behind, which, by the looks of things, will be end of week 2.

I get a 404 error :(

Give me some time.

Here's is one web archive page of its homepage

https://web.archive.org/web/20201006154624/http://www.urbancinefile.com.au/

Their final chart after departure - https://web.archive.org/web/20200930030352/https://www.urbancinefile.com.au/home/boxoffice.asp

I will try to look into their weekend archive. May be @Shanks have alternatives ready incase if I fail.

Nearly 60% over RO is great. (I haven't confirmed 2nd weekend number yet, taking what I am seeing in thread).

Weekdays should probably be around 11M+ which will be more than even NWH. 80M+ should come. Lets see where it settle, possibly 90M+ final.

$80m+ is more than I expected after the opening weekend figures, so I will wait to see how 3rd WE goes before getting too excited. But that would be a great result.

somehow never thought it will miss 80M with 16M OW. 5x+ legs were always likely with XMAS release. Was hoping for 20M+ OW and 110M+ final.

Pretty sure I still have all my avatar data in excel from back in the day. …..

ps it’s performing fine will be interesting how the dailies went whether it’s heading for 60m (seems way under now) or pushing for 100m. I think it’s heading for 80-90m finish. But way to early days.
