That's very true, but AVATAR 2 won't match the No.of tickets sold by TITANIC in 1997-1998. Both domestically and Overseas!

Yeah even AVATAR was 97,255,300 tickets while TITANIC's number of tickets sold in 1997-1998 is 128,345,900.

Hey kayom  friend,, you know joker wants his franchise to win, but betting  on a comic franchise to match any major tentpole like juggernaut 2015-2016 is a recipe as we know and see all the time for failure..

 

 

^^And to the batman fan Joker:  Sorry Joker Avatar is pretty much a lock for 2+billion and has potential to go beyond 3.5-4B+.. And avengers didnt win 80+ films awards or oscars or golden globes.. and its surely outclassed. The domestic run will be fun, but like the masses I feel only SWS has potential to be a challenge for avatar 2 domestically. And even that is highly unlikely

Actualky 90+ Million tickets and at far higher prices, meaning folks loved avatar more than any modern day movie besides titanic.
