Back to the actual topic of this thread (weekend numbers):

 

Excellent start for Apes. The next two weekends are relatively light, so I hope it manages good legs.

 

Another expected drop for Transformers, which will definitely miss $250M at this point. Tammy's drop is solid, should finish with a very good $90-95M.

 

Jump Street, Dragon, and Maleficent all saw good holds yet again.

 

Solid expansion for Begin Again. Chef continues to chug along nicely.

 

Terrific start for Boyhood.

Just more boring...

 

Even the 5 day version has provided more close games than Baseball seems to provide. The England-Sri Lanka test series which just ended had 2 amazing finishes in 2 games.

 

The IPL this time was filled with last over and last ball finishes.

Transformers doing over 100 mil less than the last, happened with Jurassic Park the Lost World, Pirates At Worlds End, Shrek the Third, Prince Caspian, and Hangover 3.Oh, and Home Alone 2 and 3.Plus Beverly Hills Cops 3.
