The frame was worth $9M on 5,527 screens in 29 markets. Korea, where CJ is releasing, was tops with $2.3M from 550 for an $8.56M cume. The biggest market still in release is Mexico with $18.3M. Brazil led with a huge $5.07M from 911 screens. fastclock Posted February 18, 2015 Share Posted February 18, 2015 Let's count an estimate: 50% of dom theater: $41.5m 35% of OS theater: $93.1m 65% of DVD/Blu: assuming $35m (dom+os), that's $22.7m On-demand is probably 15% of DVD= $3.4m Total: $160.7m On the flip side: Production budget: $132m Marketing: $40-50m That's probably about $10m in the red. They would be hoping for better dvd/blu-ray results, but Mr Peabody and Sherman's DVD/Bluray sales were only $30m.
