Glad it flopped.

 

I like Marsden and Monaghan  but these Sparks movies are dreadful and getting worse.

 

There's more Sparks on the horizon though so he's not going away any time soon.

 

I hate that these seem to be the only mainstream dramatic romance movies made.  I know they're made because they make money but they're not even romantic and they all end in some shoehorned contrived death so they're "important" according to a deluded Sparks. 

 

Meanwhile half the books sold are Romance novels, not even counting more high tone Literary Fiction with strong romantic elements.  There are many very good and even great romantic novels out there that could be adapted.  Instead we get the best sellers from the shlock pile - Sparks and freaking 50 Shades.  Not surprising though, it's what sells...
