Avatree
Okay, this is my list. My top 50 is basically an ordered list of every single show I've ever seen. I had to get pretty desperate thinking of them, ended up with things like BBC News and Teletubbies... haha I may be missing a couple that I can't think of, but I don't think I have watched 50 shows. If a TV show isn't on here, I haven't seen it. 1. The Vampire Diaries 2. Glee 3. Star Wars: The Clone Wars 4. Frozen Planet 5. Planet Earth 6. The IT Crowd 7. Fawlty Towers 8. House 9. South Park 10. The Office 11. The Thick of It 12. Arrow 13. The Simpsons 14. That Mitchell and Webb Look 15. Skins 16. The Originals 17. Downton Abbey 18. The Big Bang Theory 19. Mock the Week 20. Vicar of Dibley 21. Sherlock 22. Pokemon – Indigo League 23. The Mentalist 24. Top Gear 25. Scooby Doo 26. Neighbours 27. QI 28. Question Time 29. Mr Bean 30. Friends 31. Mythbusters 32. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003) 33. BBC News at 10 34. BBC News at 6 35. Black Mirror 36. Doctor Who 37. Spongebob Squarepants 38. The Wiggles 39. Miranda 40. Peep Show 41. Brainiac 42. The Inbetweeners 43. Teletubbies 44. The Tweenies 45. Brum
iceroll
Lmaooo BBC News at 10 and BBC News at 6 I love it You didn't have to include 50 shows, I'm just going to present a top 50 countdown because I've received like 300 different shows already.

Haha, the 6 o clock news is significantly worse than the 10 o clock news, so had to rank them in that order. I really haven't watched a lot of shows, so I figured it would be amusing to put every show I've ever watched on my list, hehe.
Spidey Freak
I see a lot of lists with no Buffy even though it seems that going by the actual entries in the list, those folks would absolutely LOVE the adventures of a certain blonde vampire slayer! Watch Buffy, people! Most of the stuff that you like in your current YA and adventure shows was most probably derived in one way or the other from the very influential Buffster. Wrath
Ok, I don't watch as much TV as I might, and a lot of these shows are going to be pretty old, dating from back when I *did* watch a lot of TV, but here's something: 1. MASH 2. Sopranos 3. Arrested Development 4. Band of Brothers (the Europe one, not the crappy Pacific one) 5. Cosmos (the old one) 6. Babylon 5 7. Dr Who (Really, this should be #1 just by sheer volume and longevity) 8. Mad Men 9. The Wire 10. Star Trek: The Next Generation 11. ER 12. Game of Thrones 13. Law and Order 14. Monte Python's Flying Circus 15. Seinfeld 16. South Park 17. The Muppet Show 18. Oz 19. Cheers 20. The Twilight Zone 21. The Office (English version) 22. 30 Rock 23. The Simpsons 24. Friends 25. Frasier 26. Curb Your Enthusiasm 27. X-Files 28. Dexter 29. I Love Lucy 30. Scrubs 31. The Office (American version. If it had stopped prior to the final season, I would have bumped it up a spot or two. If it had stopped prior to the dreadful last few seasons, I would have bumped it into the top 20. If it had stopped right after the season 3 finale, it would have been in the top 10/possibly top 5 and only serious Anglophiles would walk around talking about how the English version was so much better) 32. Community (and as a bonus, it had the second best pilot I've ever seen, though it did suggest a somewhat different direction for the show. Best Pilot I've ever seen was for Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip which was amazing but the show wasn't able to maintain that level of quality) 33. West Wing 34. Twin Peaks 35. Moonlighting 36. Mystery Science Theater: 3000 37. Sex and the City 38. Fawlty Towers 39. Survivor (yes, really. The first season was amazing) 40. Night Court 41. Gilmore Girls 42. Speed Racer 43. Real Housewives of New Jersey (No, not really. Well, kind of. Whatever.) Ok, 43 is kind of a weird number but I'm getting tired of renumbering the whole list when I remember something and add it. So I'll just stop here. Edited December 5, 2014 by Wrath
iceroll
The final deadline is 12 midnight EST tonight! You have about 9 hours left to submit/edit lists. I've got 44 lists so far, that's incredible but your list might be the one to give that final sway!

Blankments
Say this to any anime fan and they start foaming at the mouth. I like to do it to piss them off. To be fair, I'm not an anime fan and it still pisses me off
Spidey Freak
To be fair, I'm not an anime fan and it still pisses me off Meh, fetishized underaged girls (which is 85% of anime) don't do it for me. Even some of the good ones like Bleach can have their excesses.
iceroll
Sooo it looks like we'll have 46 lists and over 500 unique shows when it's all said and done. This will be even more work than that Top 100 Animated Films thing haha. I'm procrastinating from exams though so it should be up soon.

Spidey Freak
I've watched to halfway through the second season, it's alright and some episodes are better than others, but some of it is kind of boring and it hasn't hooked me yet. While the first two seasons are incredibly entertaining and one of the finest mid 90's television had to offer, Buffy really hits its stride from the third season onward. Actually scratch that, it hits the sweet spot in the second half of the second season. So you are about to reach the best part now. Keep in mind that YA and fantasy genres were nowhere as developed on television when Buffy was around as they are now. Buffy was a trailblazer in the true sense of the word. Infernus
On my TO SEE list! I usually avoid anime like the plague unless it is truly transcendental like Avatar/Korra or Ghibli. Heard a LOT of great things about Titan though so will watch it soon. Also, please do the GIF thing you did for your Greatest Animated Movies list. LOVED IT! Wow, we are, like, reaaally opposite, aren't we spheak? (except, maybe, for our mutual love for Aladdin, though I don't consider him to be even close to being the best disney character of all time and apart from that -Who doesn't love him?) I am guessing that the large no. of lists means a show appearing on only a single list, even if on top, has no chance of appearing? Any chance of the top 50 cut-off being less than 65?
