TalismanRing
12. All Disney animated movies (insert many, many posters here) Yes, a few of them are very well made. But on the whole (and even the good ones), they're over-rated. They tend to follow extremely limited storylines (reduced, even, from the original myths some of them are adapted from) and they tend to serve two masters: lots of noise and flash to keep the kiddies' attention, and mildly risque humor and/or topical pop-culture references to stop the parents from shooting themselves.

Dementeleus
I kind of agree. Which ones don't you like in particular? Most of it isn't active hatred, I just don't find them particularly interesting. Especially recently, they seem very corporate to me. The real nadir (and actually I'm pretty sure most would agree) is the 25-year-or-so period from the 60s to late 80s. I initially thought about putting FROZEN here, but then I realized it really applies to most of them. And -- for the most part -- I'm not really a fan of what Disney did to the original stories. edit: this is aimed at actual Disney productions, not necessarily stuff they produced in partnership (early Pixar, NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, etc). Dementeleus
11. The first two "Man with No Name" movies Hear me out. These are fun, cool movies. But in no shape or form are they some of the "greatest ever". THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY is an all-timer, but these first two ride its coattails to all the acclaim. The acting is bad, the dubbing poor, and the pacing isn't fantastic. They're basically warm-ups for one of Leone's masterpieces. Good, not great. BadAtGender
Whoa. Although from what I remember, Fistful did pale pretty significantly compared to Yojimbo.

Tele's just jealous that he wasn't raised on our awesome movies. Cave paintings bored him as a kid.
