BadAtGender
It would probably need a worldwide take of $350m in order to no be a flop. It's not going to get there. On the upside, the WW gross could be bigger than the previous two Wachowski films (Cloud Atlas & Speed Racer) combined. That's around $225m. PanaMovie
Jupiter Ascending had an estimated $8.9M overseas weekend with nearly 1.3M admissions from over 6,200 screens in 66 markets. The international cume on the Warner release is now $75M. Australia and New Zealand both opened well with $1.56M and $300K respectively. Brazil led holdovers with $824K for a $5.3M cume, followed by France ($717K/$5.9M) and Germany ($656K/$4.5M). China and Japan could push this one over the $100M mark internationally when they open on March 6 and 28.
picores
It'll need around 155 OS to pass 200 WW. Are $60m in China possible?

DeeCee
It opened behind the 3rd weekend of Kingsman so I would say it did OK in Australia. Better then I was expecting after I realised the number of screenings it was getting.
Bishop54
Still won't hit $200M.

keysersoze123
China could do well. Even Cloud Atlas did well there. But Japan will do nothing for sure. Overall its an expected disappointment. I am surprised Wachowskis keep getting mega budgets.
Mockingjay Raphael
"Thanks to a solid debut in China, Jupiter Ascending took the top spot at the international box office this weekend. The movie opened to $23.2 million in the world's second-largest market, which is more than it earned in its first weekend in the U.S. Through just three days, Jupiter Ascending has grossed more in China than in its next three international markets combined. So far, Jupiter Ascending has taken in $107 million overseas. With another $30-million-plus on the way in China, plus an opening in Japan, it should ultimately reach $150 million overseas. Regardless, with a weak domestic number and a massive budget, the movie is still poised to lose a ton of money." http://www.boxofficemojo.com/news/?id=4039&p=.htm
Mockingjay Raphael
"After rising to the No. 1 spot internationally last weekend on the back of a strong China start, Jupiter Ascending added $8.7M this frame in 37 markets, bringing the international cume to date to $125.2M. The Middle Kingdom brought in another $8.1M for a total there of $40.6M. Japan releases March 28."
