Jay Chou isn't exactly much of a box office draw in Mainland China. Great singer, with sold out concert stadiums, but his box office results have been pretty average: Eg: Beggar Su is a good example(One of the biggest flop that year). Viral factor he was with Nicholas Tse, but it barely broke even. Plus he only has a cameo in this film, i heard he appears less than 10minutes. POTUS 2020 Posted June 21, 2016 Share Posted June 21, 2016 BO starting to flatten out, especially HLWD. Its interesting to see how quickly they are making changes. Mostly Friday ODs this year and now summer releases for HLWD.
