Shyamalan at his peak as a director and his downfall as a writer. He made a very atmospheric and maybe his most suspenseful movie, but damn that dialogue and the faith story arc was bad, real bad. 70/100

So aliens that are have a weakness to water, decide to attack a planet made up of 70% water and a people who are 90% water.  

 

Good one Shyamalan.

I really admired its elaborate ability that creates quirky humor and creepy suspense in the small background. And even though I'm not religious person, its narrative which proficiently arranges important foreshadowing and then dramatically reveals the whole story is so interesting. My favorite Shyamalan film.

Brilliant build up...until i saw the aliens. It was a movie that really didn't need to show the beings. Would have worked just fine. Anyways what Baumer said is 100% true.

 

i'll give it a B just because i enjoyed most of it.

yeah that was brilliant scene. It was the only showing of the aliens that was justified in my opinion.

My second favorite Shyamalan movie. The movie is superbly made with tense situation, great humor and excellent performances.

Extremely rewatcheable. Love it.

Another good example of suspense with a low budget. Good likable characters, and a dramatic theme that adds redemption to the action. I hope this ties in to Glass
