MCU doesn't have room for any more characters. All the FF haters saw Age Of Ultron, right? Too crowded already. Let them stay somewhere where it's just them and the X-Men. At least they'll have a chance to shine there.

Doesn't WB have the rights to the whole DC universe? I'm sure disney would eventually like the rights to the whole MCU. I think it would be cool to have the whole universe available at one studio. Each propery would have it's own film series and they would all be connected with the larger universe. Then they can at least change out Avengers a little more. The main problem for age of ultron for me was that it was basically the same roster as the first movie.

Total Lifetime Grosses
Domestic:  $44,156,000    34.1% + Foreign:  $85,500,000    65.9% = Worldwide:  $129,656,000

T5 WW numbers with Asia still go.   I think it can do 350-400 but nothing can spin this domestic total.  Under "Salvation" is inexcusable.

I blame the shit marketing campaign Paramount did. The final trailer is incredibly weak.

I thought the marketing was fine. They even revealed too much imo. I think the auds just don't care anymore.

Colin and Steven had a meeting with Donna Langley and the goal is for Colin to have a very rough script by August.  Colin isn't directing the sequel but he will be very involved just like Spielberg.  And if Spielberg doesn't like the script, the studio won't set the date yet. In other words, this won't be like the Furious films.  We'll be getting a sequel and it's all happening quickly but the cameras won't start rolling until both Donna and Spielberg are happy.

It's so fucking weird that this post is being sourced all over the Internet as "news"

Oh, is it spreading already? I was wondering if this will go viral or stay within the Jurassic fandom.

Why do you want F4 to bomb?

Ethan, I'm not really digging the new F4 cause I feel there's something wrong with the movie.

1. They're making it just so they could keep the rights to the franchise. I believe they should make a movie when there's a good case to do so or when there's demand for it - not just to hold on to the rights.

2. I liked the original FF from last decade. Nobody can replace Jessica Alba!

3. There's something off about having a black guy play the human torch. I'm not racist or anything (I'm neither white or black) but I feel such things from the comics shouldn't be tampered with using the excuse of artistic license. It gets even worse when the human torch is supposed to be Susan's brother. Why not make other original movies with the black guy in the lead instead of distorting what people have grown to accept with the comics by forcing an ethnicity on a character? And if they HAD to do this, why not make his sister black too so it looks a bit more believable?

These are just my views and I have a feeling I'm not going to like this movie. But hey I might be wrong and it might be good enough to change my perception so let's wait and see.  :)

Most likely so Marvel can get the rights back Then again if F4 does well maybe Fox can do a connected Universe with F4 and X-Men

Guessing he's a fan of the MCU ;)

I'm far from an MCU fan. The only MCU movies I liked are the first Avengers and the Iron Man movies. Didn't even bother watching the rest except AOU and CA2. I want Ant-Man to do well as I'm a fan of Paul Rudd and his work, and the trailers look great. I appreciate any movie that entertains me. I don't think I've ever given ANY movie an entirely bad review (below 5/10) except the one where Ryan Reynolds was trapped inside a box for the whole movie.

It still hasn't opened in Germany, Spain, Italy, Japan or China either.

I think they don't cared enough, because the movie needed another attraction. The domestic box office is often ruled by teens and the 21-25 year olds. When you got a movie with the main attraction being a 67 year old actor playing the role for a 4th time. Well it's hard to sell that audience on this movie. There's a reason why very few actors over the history of time, have been the lead of a film with the budget this high at Arnold age. There's a reason why this movie performing more like a Expendables movie domestically, rather then a Terminator movie. If they movie was going to go with a 155 million dollar budget, they should have added a actor who has some drawing ability to play John Connor or Kyle Reese. I doubt anybody thinks guys like Jason Clarke or Jai Courtney will never been leading man stars. Thankfully the rest of the world doesn't mind a aging star, so Terminator Genisys is doing well still internationally.

Jai Courtney is awful, but please, keep Jason Clarke. He was good.
