Monsters University opened to $82.5M. Why all of the sudden is a Finding Nemo adaptation guaranteed to open $30M above that?

Because FD is the sequel Nemo not Monster's Inc.. Monster's Inc. Is a loved animation but no where near as popular as Nemo which is indeed Pixar's most popular and beloved film to date. Also it helps that its following up Inside Out and The Good Dino (assuming its at least mid tier Pixar) as opposed to Cars 2 and Brave

The blunt, brute killing machine that Bond is in Casino is very similar to Bourne in Bourne, no? Action's even framed similarly.

You are right. Bourne Series had a big influence on Casino Royale with the way the action was done.

Bourne franchise never gets enough credit. Definitely had a huge influence on grittier takes of Casino Royale and Batman Begins.

Yep, Doug Liman directed one of the most influential film of the last 15 years, yet he gets no credit or respect for it.

Bourne is known as the Paul Greengrass franchise.

The thing I find most weird about the Deadpool movie is that no one actually knows who the director is off hand. The entire marketing to geeks campaign so far seems to be "Ryan Reynolds is Deadpool in a R-rated movie which will break the fourth wall"

And it won't change. GA won't care.

First Bourne had all kinds of behind-the-scenes problems, people were surprised it came out so well

How the fuck will Minions do $38 million after $6.7 in previews?! It has a frontloaded fan base on that level? Lord.

It definitely won't pass IO if it opens under TS3.

$300M total may be in question, too if Minions opens under that mark.
