Avatree
I haven't put too much thought into it, and I'm not including a 1965 list because I haven't seen enough to list that many truly brilliant films from the year. I've just done 5 for each of the other years as it just makes the list simpler. I think all the following films are remarkable - I didn't do a list for 1965 but here are the others: 1975: 1. Barry Lyndon 2. Monty Python and the Holy Grail 3. Jaws 4. The Rocky Horror Picture Show 5. Death Race 2000 1985: Back to the Future Commando Brazil Runaway Train Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome 1995: Leaving Las Vegas Toy Story Apollo 13 12 Monkeys Dead Man Walking 2005: King Kong Brokeback Mountain War of the Worlds Lord of War The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy 2015: Maggie The Tale of the Princess Kaguya Love & Mercy Ex Machina Inside Out Edited August 24, 2015 by Tree-5000

So I wonder if I should extend the countdown, I just changed the name to something a little more understandable, and received two more submissions already any thoughts?

Kalo
With the title change I think an extension is in order. Perhaps so, I have actually been catching up on films from those years, watched Rocky Horror and Dog Day Afternoon in the last couple days. Dog Day Afternoon is fantastic! Kalo
Lets look back 50 years ago and take a look at what films have stood the test of time, and endured long enough to have a place in the top 10 of 1965 (according to BOT anyways). there was a total of 248 edible films submitted and 29 films were listed for the year of 1965. are you guys ready for this? I know I am, so set back relax and enjoy the show.
