And the Winner of the the top 10 films of 2005 is none other than the legend of the caped crusader himself "Batman Begins" It's a nolan film so if there is a countdown with a film directed in that year, it's most likely going to win. that being said. Batman Begins was a triumph in a lot of ways, coming after the awful Batman & Robin, which pretty much single handedly kept Batman of movie screens for eight years. meant it really needed to up it's game if Batman was going to be welcomed back again, which fortunately it did, it was one of - if not the best received batman film to date at the time, and critics and fans loved it, praising it for it's darker more grounded tone. it was nominated for best cinematography at the Oscars.

Note: Despite winning the countdown it received the least amount of points out of any #1 film in the countdown, it also only received #1 number placement in fact there were only three that received more than one for 2005 (Kingdom of Heaven (2), Revenge of the Sith (2) and Wallace and Gromit (2)

Ant-Man makes the top 10! despite growing through a change of director and cast members, Ant-Man turned out to quite the hi, is it as good as if Edgar Wright had directed it? I guess we'll never know (probably not). but it was recieved positively by critics and fans and ended up grossing over $500m worldwide. good a enough to a sequel to be announced; Ant-Man and the Wasp. coming summer 2018!
