whoot
Is Pixar's animation winning (nomination) streak over? My guess is yes for this year. Actually for the academy's and Pixar's credibility's sake, they can't and shouldn't nominate a critically panned movie. It'll be The Reader all over again. AniNate
I agree. It's not a good film and there are plenty of worthier candidates. Edited November 10, 2011 by tribefan695
CoolioD1
Early reviews for Arthur Christmas are good. Not amazing, but I think it could be enough to get in.
Totem
Weak year for animation. 2010 was the year of animation, we might not see one like it for a while.
Night Fury
Rango or KFP2... neither were amazing though. Definitely a weak year so far.
AniNate
This isn't as bad as 2006, I think. Rango definitely deserves to win.

Jonwo
Both Sony and Fox have submitted hybrids with The Smurfs and Alvin 3 to try and boost the chances of getting their actual animated films like Rio and Arthur Christmas nominated. Kvikk Lunsj
Why does everybody think Rango will win? It was very mediocre.
AniNate
It was not mediocre, and so far it has the best reviews out of all of them
