Impact
I really hope Avengers can get nominated.Come on-star the campaign!(Hey Brave is more liked then Loud and Close. Then again so is: Dictator, John Carter, Mirror, Mirror, Woman in Black....)
Kvikk Lunsj
The Hobbit will be the commercial nomination.I hate the idea of the commercial nomination it should be the best film regardless if the are indie, art house, big studio oscar film or blockbuster.Commercial nomination is just a sell out nomination. Kvikk Lunsj
Well, it looks like Brave is out. Revised predicts: Anna Karenina The Avengers Beasts of the Southern Wild The Dark Knight Rises Django Unchained The Hobbit Les Miserables Lincoln The Master Zero Dark Thirty I think there's a chance Avengers could fill the "commercial" void left by Brave. I disagree with these two films.
Impact
Random fact-I believe Hugo is the only film that has topped my best of the year in the 2000s that did not make 100M

MovieMan89
My very early prediction:Les MiserablesThe HobbitThe MasterLincolnBeasts of the Southern WildDjango UnchainedFlightMoonrise KingdomZero Dark ThirtyLife of Pi could knock Flight, Moonrise, or Zero Dark out but Ang Lee is often hit or miss and it kind of seems like a "Tintin" type movie to me, with the book it's based on. Doesn't sound that Oscar baiting.

riczhang
^The Hobbit? The hobbit is more of a money grab than anything else IMO, so I'm not predicting it for a BP nom. Also, the Academy I dunno probably should be tired of giving Jackson noms especially after all three LOTR got noms, and the last one went 11 for 11. MovieMan89
9.2/10 avergae rating for Beasts Of The Souther Wild after 17 reviews.Dayum.Up to 9.3 average rating now. Holy shit, at this rate it may set an average rating record. Really bizarre thing though is that it has a fairly dismal 6.9 rating on IMDB right now. Is this gonna be a film critics just adore but audiences hate? Hmm...

Dementeleus
I don't think TH is gonna get a BP nomination either. It's part 1, and unless it's truly something different and extraordinary, I think the general feeling will be "it's more of the same, and we awarded him last time".
