Thanks, ectasy; work has been a bit crazy the past few months.  Glad to be back to follow TFA, feels a bit like how it was when Avengers came out.

Glad to see you back.

Um, no. Prior to release it was not a sure thing. Many people were predicting 500s, some were hoping it could at least take number 1 for 2015. People obviously did not rule out beating Avatar but only a few bullish predictors went that way.

WW is nice and all for Avatar. Bland love stories and main characters that are essentially non-racial have universal appeal. But Avatar is not a part of the cultural fabric of anywhere.

SW is a part of the cultural fabric of the english speaking world.

The trailer views, the merchandising, disney granted a dying star wars fan his last wish (this was in nearly every newspaper), the big hypermarkets with nearly everything from toiletpaper, dinner plate, bed clothes to tooth brushes. Everything went full star wars. Even as an avatar fan i told my friends month ago that tfa will beat avatar dom wise, but ww wise it will keep the crown.

So TFA beating avatar dom wise didnt came as surprise for me.

0.0068% drop. Let's just call it 0

Very curious to see how Wednesday fares. I'm predicting a 15% drop, 10% more than Avatar, for 6.7M

What stands out to me the most is that it is nearly a full $300m ahead of TA at the same point. I mean that is just insane.

Bo.com says that TFA already overtook TPM and moved into 17th place. So which list is the correct one? The list also states that Lion King is ahead of TPM at #16.

I have noticed something that I don't understand.

Looking at the following chart, Snow White made 184 M in 1937, while GWTW made 198 M in 1939.

Yet GWTW is adjusted to twice as much as Snow White !

Why ?

Tuesday = yesterday

today,....

I think they might mean that it had it already reached during today (kayumanggi, for you probably already Thursday?)
