WrathOfHan
Calling it now: Ride Along will be 7th next weekend. Fifty Shades of Black is direct competition and 13 Hours had a strong hold. All three of this weekend's releases will be 8-10 as well.

Maxmoser3
Blah weekend at the weekend box office that was hit by a heavy snow storm in most of the US. The Revenant led this weekend which has been the longest film to reach #1 since Paranormal Activity back in 2009. The Revenant should still be playing well considering its solid word of mouth and its Oscar nominations it should end its run around 160 million domestic. Star Wars climbed back to the second spot this weekend still showing signs of not dying down. Already the film is near 2 billion worldwide and near 900 million state side! Star Wars should end its run around 955 million domestic. Last weekend's champion, Ride Along 2 took a sharp drop this weekend with around 63% which is bigger than the previous film's 48% drop. Look for Ride Along 2 to end around 80-85 million domestic. As for the newcomers, Dirty Grandpa was off to an alright start with an estimated 11 million, considering that Zac Efron's last film We Are Your Friends debuted around $1.7 million its opening weekend last August, and That Awkward Moment with 8.7 million back in February of 2014(but that had the Super Bowl in the way). Dirty Grandpa should end its around 25-30 million domestic. The Boy wasn't too far from Grandpa with a solid start around 11 million which was on-par with STX's first film The Gift back in August. The Boy could hold up like The Gift, but a total around 30 million wouldn't be surprising. The 5th Wave sank with 10 million this weekend, on-par with The Host but below If I Stay. The 5th Wave will probably go away quick but a total at least 30 million seems not a problem.
