My forecast for Zootopia's weekends:

Mar 18: 37M

Mar 25: 25M **

Apr 1: 16.7M

Apr 8: 12M

Apr 15: 7.3M

Apr 22: 4.7M

Apr 29: 3.2M

May 6: 2.1M

May 13: 1.4M

May 20: 700k

110.1M from these remaining weekends. 300M just got a lot more likely :) I don't think it'll have it's first sub-1M weekend till Angry Birds, Ratchet and Clank is a nonstarter.

** I don't think holdovers will be very strong this weekend :)

Should I be happy with that 10CL number?

A $15m movie opening to $25m while scoring a 91 on RT and giving Mary Elizabeth Winstead a leading role is a major WIN on all counts. Plus it has John Goodman and the guy from Short Term 12. You should be very happy.

Has Disney announced a ZOOTP sequel? It's guaranteed.

Both ZOOTP2 and FROZEN2 could put up insane OS numbers. Even more insane than their predecessors.

Is this for real? I guess that's because of China's amazing number, right?

Yes. Our BOT China-gurus are predicting 220m USD minimum.

So 500m+ DOM + China combined.

Considering that 500m is coming from China+US alone (probably closer to 600m) 900 sounds pretty reasonable.

So 300 M in China? That's crazy. That's even bigger than AGE OF ULTRON.

This definitely won't be another feast or famine year like 2015.

yeah, honestly it's impossible to predict this year's top 10 and how many $200M+ or $300M+ grossers there will be!

does anyone think 8, 9 or even 10 $300M+ movies for a year possible?

Deadpool and Zootopia aside, Dory, BvS, Civil War, Rogue One are guranteed, and probably Suicide Squad and Moana too, then I think we can't rule out FBaWtFT, Independence Day and The Jungle Book, either.

Considering that Allegiant is going to open under 30m its practically a guarantee... even if Zoo were to fall -40% it would still be over 30m.

First two films opened with 50M+ so why Allegiant would drop that hard
