BTW with the Rogue One trailer coming out and the Doctor Strange and Fantastic Beasts trailers coming out this week I'm just kinda sitting around scratching my head at where the Jason Bourne trailer is

There are still many weeks until Civil War opens. Lots of time for other trailers to show up ;)

Remember the BvS over TFA people a year ago?

Plus the GA has rejected it the last two weeks, I feel like the significance of that gets understated because the common counter is that it's profitable and opened huge on OW. The point is this wasn't supposed to be a Twilight like BO run & even that maybe generous.

I know but I feel like a movie coming out in July should get its first trailer out before late April/early May

A trailer with Civil War and a final trailer with ID2 makes total sense to me.

It wouldn't call $29m before P&A "pennies."

You're being literal. Compared to the amount that studios are spending on these potential franchises and tentpoles, it is an economical budget.

Warner Brothers did not spend 300m on a BATMAN v SUPERMAN movie to make less WW than the last 2 solo Batman films. FACT

It is pretty obvious they wanted 1B. Either way what choice do they have? We are on Saturday and I will only believe Justice League starts filming on Monday when I see pictures of it lol.

Of course they expected that, and if it had good reviews and WOM, it would have done that and more, but it doesn't. So, let's just accept the reality that with those conditions not met, it's doing fine. Disappointing sure, but fine. Learn from the mistakes, move past it and deliver.

But they didn't learn from their mistakes made on MoS, what makes you think they will now?

Alright, maybe Zootopia is following the weekend trends of PG-13 movies now. No large Friday jumps. Anyways, maybe the weekend will be like this:

Friday: $3.5 million

Saturday: $6.7 million

Sunday: $4.5 million

Total: $14.7 million

Good to see you survived the drop.

I'm sorry, I'm one of those who doesn't understand what the mistakes were on MOS, so I don't think I'm the right person for this debate.

She has been praising Dame Helen Mirren's Eye in the Sky and following his box office closely.

Eye in the Sky also gets my approval. It is a great movie.

I'm sure she liked The Witch and 10 Cloverfield Lane, then again who didn't?

I praised Edge of Tomorrow, Jack Reacher, Tom Cruise's film choices, Zootopia and Eye in the Sky in this very thread!
