Impact
Rogue One should be nominated-the fact that they made a guy look like Peter Cushing was pretty cool I thought.

Very imaginative moments for sure, especially the part when the boat rises from beneath the ocean.
Impact
I've been trying to narrow down my predictions. Now I do think Jungle Book and Rouge One are safe (or close to safe at least), trying to figure out the other 3. I could see these all getting in: Arrival, Doctor Strange, Fantastic Beasts, Deepwater and even Captain America 3 (unlikely but remember Cap 2 was nominated here)
Impact
Arrival Deepwater Horizon Doctor Strange Jungle Book Rogue One Alt: The BFG I do hope Jungle Book wins (Rogue One was a bit too blurry at times, the visuals were great though one character at the very end appeared a bit too blurry (not saying due to spoilers)

Daxtreme
Can Star Wars take home its first oscar since Empire Strikes Back in 1980? Visual Effects might happen, although I think the Academy will give it to Hacksaw Ridge.
