It is an older audience, so hopefully not as frontloaded and it holds better on Sunday.

It's going to need a 5% drop today and 20% drop tomorrow IMO; I'm not entirely convinced the drop today will be that soft. Or who knows, maybe it increases like all the other Bourne movies.

As bad as this year sounds its still up over last year w/o a $600m movie in june and a $350m in January. Its just too many franchises and its the new stuff that's thriving, Zoo DB TJB SS etc

This doesn't help the overall picture though. There's no middle movies anymore you're either getting scraps that are left over or you're making 300 million dollars. There's no in between movies and that is definitely not good for Hollywood.

Seeing as is going to be so close it might actually matter that and half of the provinces in Canada there is a holiday on Monday. This includes Ontario which is the most populated province. So the Sunday drops might actually be just a little bit less than normal and that could be enough to put it over 60

So Bad Moms is looking at a $26M three-day with that Friday number. Not bad, but I thought it had the potential to hit $30M+ especially after its preview numbers came out.

There's nothing Not Bad about it. 26 mill OW is probably more than any of us thought it would do in total.

Cafe Society's PTA should be $4,070, that's excellent.

I'm wondering if they plan on expanding it to more theaters after this weekend. I saw that it depends on how it does this weekend but if thats its PTA then thats very very good and should warrant another expansion although i wonder how that would workout.

The slow death of the mid-budget movie is definitely the saddest trend of the last decade.

I don't know. Its pre-sales the last few weeks has indicated an OW of $25-30M based on the info that was provided in the tracking thread. I thought as the release date got closer, it would go up.
