I have my list (54 films for the moment), but I want to see some more films before deadline. I will post it later.

I had not seen Grave of the fireflies. Such a great film. It is already in my top 10. But it is the most depressing film I have ever seen. I do not want to see it again for a long time.

That is exactly how I feel about the film. Possibly the finest work of animation ever made and I hope to never see it again.

I've seen it multiple times in English and in Japanese with subtitles, but I don't feel that way. Maybe if I watched it now, when I have a more mature understanding of the world, I would feel as devastated.

The story is devastating, horrible, extremely sad and, I fear, very realistic. I saw it 3 weeks ago and I still think about it.

Fortunately, I have never lived in a country in war, but my grandparents, for example, did (Spanish Civil War, during 1936-1939). They told me some stories about living under bombs, the misery generated and how horrible it was. They always cried when they remembered those stories. If they were still alive, I would try to prevent them to not see this film. It is one of the most frightening films ever. I do not remember to have experienced this fear and anxiety with a film. But in the same way, it is a mandatory film. Everybody should see it.

Am starting to think that a top 150 list may actually be happening.

There are a lot of high profile films in the 100~150 range.

There is also only 2 films in the top 150 that only have 1 vote. Everything else is multiple.

(150th has 21  points so all top 2 movie are in the top 150 right now)
