Did she lose it or did she 'lose it'?

:kitschjob:

Spoiler

Nah, she was too young to be that cunning. She didn't ask for another either, I just couldn't bear having her first experience at the movies end up that way. I think I was sadder about her losing it than she was lol

My Top 10 of the year so far:

1. 10 Cloverfield Lane

2. Hell or High Water

3. Eye in the Sky

4. Deadpool

5. The Witch

6. Finding Dory

7. Star Trek Beyond

8. Civil War

9. Moana

10. The Shallows

I'm only comfortable saying the top 3 will remain in my Top 10 of the year when all is said and done.

Good to see another who did not get ensnared by the cult of Zootopia.

Not to bring politics into this, but I can't help but laugh at the fact that Jill Stein's fundraising campaign is looking to yield more money than Billy Lynn, Bleed for This, and Rules Don't Apply will in their entire theatrical runs.

How embarrassing.

My grandma lost her phone at the movies last summer. It took a couple of days for the staff to find it.

Most of the time that's just staff being lazy. Trust me, if someone loses a phone in an auditorium and there's no movie playing, I'm either in there on my hands and knees with a flashlight or turn on the theatre light, or turn the lost and found inside out.

Oh we're doing lists? Cool.

1. The Witch
2. The Lobster
3. Kubo and the Two Strings
4. Hunt for the Wilderpeople
5. Swiss Army Man

6. Everybody Wants Some!
7. Zootopia

8. 10 Cloverfield Lane
9. Love & Friendship
10. Eye in the Sky

Have yet to see most of the critic darlings (eg. Moonlight, Manchester by the Sea, American Honey, etc.) as they haven't been released here yet. Arrival would be in 11th place, had huge problems with the third act but the first two had moments of pure bliss.
