Probbaly the distributor tried for 1000 and failed.  BO.com refrained from giving any prediction in their long term predictions because it was a new distributor with no track record.  They refrain this week too since it doesn't make their top 10.

Can't you pull Slamma Jamma from the Derby @AndyLL? The distributor wanted 1000+ theaters and it failed spectacularly at that.

Probably too late unless no one filled out their with Derby yet.  What if the don't see it's a do-over and wind up with a 0 score for it all and not just that movie?
