YM!
This, some of my favorites (One Punch Man, Naruto, Dragon Ball) and the She-Ra Netflix series gave me a great idea for a movie franchise inspired by anime.

SLAM!
I'm outlining The Ancient Magus' Bride... and I have a feeling I'm gonna make something great out of it. I'm really excited about it. Casting announcements to come sometime in the near future. (Though I'd love an idea for a young Asian-American actresses to cast as Chise Hatori. 17-20 is a good age range.) She's 21.

YM!
I am coming up with some ideas for Eyes and it’s going to be half @4815162342 crime drama and half thriller, all with some deep themes. I’m excited to write it as it’s my first serious Oscar aiming film (CYI? was a pleasant surprise). I think that, Mario, Music, BAG2, Tintin and Phoenix are my main 6 for Y6. Ezen Baklattan
I may try my hand at a Peele flick in Y7 or Y8. It’ll be more of a straight horror flick, though.
Xillix
Part of me wants to pull a Matrix and just drop volumes II and III of Earthsong both in Y6... ...of course that didn't work out super great for Revolutions' box office.

Both of the Matrix sequels were kind of trash. Besides DH1 and 2 were out 8 months from each other.

Xillix
The structure and scheduling of Earthsong is just kind of a bitch in general tbh. The original comic is split into five volumes of three chapters each, but there's not enough content in any single volume for a feature film. There's a pivotal event toward the end of the comic's third volume that could be sort of seen as the main point the overall plot revolves around. But there was already so much exposition way before that, I didn't think cramming the first three comic volumes into one movie would work either. Hence the first movie ending on such a massive cliffhanger with a big fight scene I made up out of thin air to try and give it some sense of a climax. So the movie I called Volume I was really more or less the first five chapters of the comic; volume one and most of volume two. The second movie will be the remainder of the second comic volume and all of the third. That means I'm gonna have to make up and add a good bit of content on my own, because it's the smallest stretch of the source material I'm going to be using for a film, and it's pretty much structured in the comic as a bunch of exposition and character introductions and then suddenly a big action scene and plot twist. The good thing about all this is that the second movie ending at the close of the third comic volume will give it a much more substantial ending, and then the last two volumes of the comic flow together with a much more "natural" structure for a movie, so that's probably where I'll have to do the least re-jiggering. I feel like doing both within one game year can backfire from a logistical standpoint tbh, not just box office. It’s basically one long story so don’t make it longer than TSWII.
