Where is that?

Soon you'll see the hole cookie dug himself into in one character aspect :Venom:

I left off at the end of season 3. Finished the 2nd episode of the 4th season last night.

It doesn't honestly matter, I just do it for shits and giggles. And because it goes with the name.

i'm literally only thinking about it because since i have EGK studios anyway, it might be nice to have a special animation studio and a brand for my more Oscar Contending films but IDK

question for y'all, should I start dividing my studios like Xillix and YourMother do? I'd do retroactively as well but I'm curious if that'd be a good idea

Cookie does it well

I do it mainly cause I like it and it makes it seem like more of a movie studio in my mind.

I imagine Endless Entertainment handles tentpole.

Endless Animation being a brand/label really helps (in my mind at least for box office)

Infinite Studios was supposed to be my Touchstone Pictures and most of my R rated fair but lately I’ve been using it for fillers but that’ll change too.

That why I split Endless Entertainment and Endless Animation. That and in my mind, a brand name helps box office, like Pixar, Dreamworks, Disney, Illumination etc.

Saw the opening and got out as quickly as possible. It's gonna be a long spring

I watched a version online that didn’t have the opening or the ending songs.

The animation honestly isn’t that bad. Yeah it’s definitely not season 1 quality good but it’s not as bad as I thought it was going to be.

So I’m thinking of doing a few alterations to how I approach both my writing and review processes for the coming years:

  • Since the rest of April is virtually empty for me outside of going to Copenhagen on the 24th to see Avengers in IMAX, I’m going to try and use that time to write everything I can.
  • Right now I have three movies I want out in Y6: Voltron 3, Scrooge 0.5 and DragonBorns. The last one is the least necessary to get out since as a franchise starter it can wait, but I want to get ahead on my Y7 projects (V4, TSW3, Paradise, Scrooge 3 and Zelda) simultaneously, so were it not to happen in Y6 it’d risk going in the backburner, which is not good as I feel I need more original properties.
  • What I want is to have all three in something that resembles a finished state when Part 1 starts. Scrooge is probably the easiest to make happen since it’s so far along already - I need to work a bit more with the film’s shift towards sincerity in the second half, but I have a strong enough outline and the comic source to directly draw from that it shouldn’t be a big hassle.
  • If I do get all three finished in good time - and that’s a big if - I want to spend the rest of the time preparing my Y7 stuff on the sidelines, while reading as much of what’s been posted as possible so I have a head start on reviews.
  • Speaking of reviews, Cookie’s Corner will be more kind and constructive - and analytical if I feel like it - than it’s been in previous years, continuing Y5’s slight trend but full on this time. I explained in the last edition that my older reviews have not aged all that well, and the negativity kinda started to take a toll on myself after a while so I don’t want to return to that well. I mean jokes and commentary will still happen, but they’re only for entertainment’s sake - If they come across as critical, I don’t mean to be that.
  • Final point: In order to encourage myself to get my ass off and actually work on delivering these things, I’ve already handed out pre-read privileges to five of them. I’m going to extend that to all eight.

These are the ones I’ve promised already:

Spoiler

@Spaghetti and @YourMother the Edgelord - Voltron: Galrazaal (Y6)

@4815162342 - Voltron: Rift and TSW3 (Y7)

@Rorschach - Project Paradise (Y7)

@Slambros - DragonBorns (Y6)

The plan is to keep all of you updated on the writing process, and I may post some excerpts and/or outlines just for quick feedback - Numbers is getting those cold opens I’ve promised.

This leaves open season on the final three, provided you’ve read or will read the predecessors to the former two:

  • The Argonaut of White Agony Creek (Y6)
  • A Crackle in Time (Y7)
  • The Legend of Zelda: Secret of the Guardians (Y7)

Here's my writing order for the year:

1. Spark: A Hero's Promise

2. Line Break

3. Bridgette/Teyonnah

4. XJ-9

5. Paradise Island

6. Lumberjanes

7. Wallace and Gromit

SPARK is obviously going to be the longest of the lot word count wise. I promise, however, that I'll keep everything else under 10k words if Spark goes over 20k.
