Blankments
this is one of the funniest trailers of the year
SLAM!
They did a really good job with this trailer! I had found this gem of a trailer about a week ago and I think there's something about it that makes me want to see the film. Whoever the cinematographer is has a good eye for a good shot. The camerawork makes the lean away from the distinction of an average faith based film and towards the distinction of a well done independent film The child actor is the same one from Heaven is for Real. I think he has potential to be acting with nuance, though I understand that there's a fine line between acting with nuance and not having the skill. I'm rooting for this film to succeed for sure!

The camera they're using looks expensive... there's some Emmanuel Lubezki quality shots in this trailer in my opinion.

It regards the dog as a guardian angel. And it's got the Dove family approval seal. It sounds to me like it could stand as the next great dog film in the vein of Marley and Me, even if it isn't as successful. People will think I'm crazy, but something is telling me that this has a shot at having an impact. I don't know about you guys, but I'm standing by this film's side.

SLAM!
http://www.boxofficemojo.com/schedule/ The distributor, Quality Flix, has decides to give this film a semi-wide release in 630 theaters. With My Little Pony's incoming critical success, this might struggle to find a footing, but I'll be praying for this film's success! (@Blankments I think you should add this to the title for awareness) Edited October 2, 2017 by slambros

Jake Gittes
Nothing says quality like a distributor named Quality Flix. 1 1

I just meant the fact that it's going wide. (I've seen a lot of advertising for this on YouTube and all three theaters in my town have this film! I hope it does great!)

Barnack
I think I get what you mean slambros because of the hand handling style, but the lighting is much more flat and does seem to have close to the budget and time going to that department of the Lubzeki work's, completely different level of quality here, without even considering the quality of the composition and the movement.
