Even leaving the casting issue aside, it was full of inaccuracies , some of them real howlers.

If it was historical fiction, it might be forgivable, but as a docudrama it was claiming to be accurate, and it simply was not, for reason that go well beyong the casting issues.

Thoght sme of the attempts t prove the Cleo "Might" have been black are ridiculous.

To be fair, the senior Bachelor was first announced in February 2020, it just got delayed due to Covid.

 

It's coming on after Dancing with the Stars. The hardcore DwtS fans can get pretty snotty about other reality shows, so I wonder how that pairing will go.

Still tickles me that they moved DWTS back to ABC. Good thing I don't watch much on network television these days so I can't be annoyed that "reality" TV is gonna dominate the fall schedule more likely than not.

Just found out the director of that White Men Can't Jump remake out today that's looking to come and go with no one caring was also the same person who directed the House Party remake that came and went with no one caring earlier this year. Carving out quite the niche here with DOA 90s comedy remakes huh.
