I can't help but find it amusing that the Russo bros are using the clout they built up from their Marvel adventures to basically fund glossier/starrier versions of DTV action schlock. They might as well dub themselves Hello Sunshine (Reese Witherspoon's company that seems to have found its calling adapting almost every single popular female-centric book into either a movie or TV series) For Dudes.

I've realized that the last film I've seen from Paramount in theaters was Gemini Man back in 2019.

It's been buried amidst the strike news but the Tony nominations have been announced. Lot of notable names from within the movie/TV arena up this year (and a lot that were apparently snubbed too).

So after a lot of thought, I am going to be moving back to India for a year and a bit starting August 1. This is because of a weird immigration law where if you spend a year outside the US in a managerial capacity you can immediately get a green card upon return to the US because you are an "international manager". Decided to explore that option, and also it will be nice to see if i can fit back into the Indian work culture after being here for 14 years almost. 

 

If I like it back in India with all the advancements in a decade and a half, might just decide to stay there but that is for October 2024 me to decide.
