Han's problem would have been solved if he'd taken my advice like a year ago and just gotten a fast food/restaurant job. But he let his parents talk him out of it.

My mom thinks I'd freak out working as a waiter (probably not inaccurate) and thinks only lowlifes work at fast food around here, so it's not in my control

Working a shitty fast food/restaurant job makes you appreciate just about anything else. In that sense, it's a great experience to have.
