Big Hero 6 is going to hurt Spongebob? The most iconic character on TV right now? (Fact, not my opinon). Please. Spongebob will pull $100M and itll be a monster WW, which is the main readon for this being made. Like CHD said, its Spongebob, he spans 2 generations, people are going to watch it, even if they still dont watch the show (or the new episodes specifically). Paramount will give him great marketing, though he really doesnt need it.

And most people in my generation, who saw the first movie, hate the show now. It's not gonna do great; I'm actually thinking of doing an Under Original Movie club when it comes out.

If it isnt a comic book movie, a Pixar movie, or a nerdgasm aka Pacifc Rim, nobody posts on it. We're The Millers comes out in six days and it only has 5 pages. As successful as The Heat was, it only has 9. Thats just how it is.
