I don't want either movie to fail if they are good. Only bad movies deserve to fail. I believe the Nolan one will be great, of course.  This one will most likely not be any good

About this movie. They needed a handsome Goose to attract girls. Miles Teller is not it. Someone like, uhmmmm....you guessed it, Ansel ELgort.  Now it's gonna be just an action movie

It's definitely silly/cheesy thanks to the passage of time, like most '80s movies, but I still thought it was fun, with a damn good soundtrack to boot.

I'm fighting an internal battle between my love for Top Gun and my hate for Miles Teller when it comes to this movie. 

 

I really hope this sticks to the Mission Impossible formula of building the cast around Cruise and he stays the focal point. I don't want it to be a set up for 'Top Gun :The Next Generation' or something similar.

popular guess is this film, but i'm not sure why anyone would expect this to be great, not like the first is some masterpiece

 

Fury Road was suppose to be disaster as well, so who knows

 

 

Jeff is also a huge Cruise and Teller fan

Holly macaroni! The budget for this is huge. It's shooting under the name Island Plaza. And that's just the California expenditures. Also Ford v. Ferrari is a surefire bomb

It is still filming? Who knew a Top Gun movie takes longer to shoot than a Star Wars movie
