That's not true.

Hope so! Maybe Deadline meant trailer.

Paramount also dropped a new trailer today for Top Gun: Maverick at CinemaCon where we see Jon Hamm’s navy guy giving Maverick a second chance per the request of Val Kilmer’s Iceman (who is not in the film).

What are you talking about?  They played the new trailer in addition to the first 13 minutes.

I meant, no trailer release to the general public

AQP2 got its last trailer May 6th , weeks before release and first trailer in over a year? During pandemic studios won't promote much until 2 months or less before release

You are probably right

CinemaCon rarely if ever puts trailers out for the public. Spider-Man is the exception, not the rule.

And as an aside, can you please stop being overdramatic? Every time anything even mildly negative (and sometimes not even that) occurs, you're expecting delays and/or films to bomb like crazy. It's getting beyond old and beyond tiring seeing these kinds of posts.

They removed this, already!  😉

For the record, I gave him warning points twice in the past couple weeks and have told him numerous times that his schtick is old and tiring. Please do not think we're letting anybody off the hook here.
