You know I hadn't actually watched the trailer with sound until I saw it with Deadpool, but I actually think it is a rare example of a non-cringe epic cinematic song remix. Definitely don't get all the hemming and hawing about it.

Speaking of Tommy C. The movie he is doing ,with the Birdman/Reveant director , looks like it is moving forward at WB. They  made a big casting  announcement yesterday. So it seems like he is getting out of his MCQ/Kosinski comfort zone for at least one movie. Assuming Mission 8 finishes shooting at some point.

Yes, Sir Ridley was indulging in a bit of  overkill in pushing a movie, but saying that somehow dooms the film is stupid.

Scott has said the same thing about a couple of other of his films before theywere released.
