Well, I would say that Cooke will be back with a vengeance in Y6, but I do want to clarify one detail:

  Reveal hidden contents

A little more than 1 game year from now....

Nimkarius (in flashback to Xevarre): When you came into this world, I saw pure, untapped potential. And beyond that, something truly Infinite...

*cut to Alex geared for war, sparking a flash of energy in a hand*

*trailer music intensifies at 0:27 and away we go*

HOURGLASS PICTURES PRESENTS....

TFW when the 2D animation remake dominance in Costume Design works for every year except the one where you have such a film.

Take it from a former Costume winner...

Commercial Break #5

The New Journey Pictures logo fades onto the screen.

“Lights,” the director, Archibald Asparagus, cries out.

His voice is followed by the sound of lights being turned on.

We fade to black.

“Roll camera!”

We fade into a view of a film slate, which is being held right in front of the camera by Jerry Gourd. He snaps the slate, says ‘action’ and steps aside. We see a film set inside of a studio—specifically, it’s the bathroom set used to film the famous silly song “Where is my hairbrush?”. It is noticeably more detailed than it was in the original animation.

Larry The Cucumber pulls back the shower curtain, thus entering the scene of the shot…

…And he hesitates before asking, “What is my line again?”

Archibald yells off screen, “Oh, where is my hairbrush, oh, where is my hairbrush.”

****

We cut to black and fade into another slate. Playful jazz drumming can now be heard.

“Hairbrush song, take two.” Jerry snaps, says ‘action’, and steps back.

Larry pulls back the curtain and tries to leap out of the bathtub, and begins to sing, “Oh, where is my toothbrush.”

“Cut!” yells Archibald. “Larry, you’re supposed to say hairbrush.”

“But I don’t have hair.”

That’s the point of the song, Larry.”

“…But that’s silly.”

“It’s a silly song!”

****

We cut to black and fade in again. A playful brass symphony is now a part of the trailer’s score.

“Hairbrush song, take three… action!”

Larry pulls back the curtain and leaps out of the bathtub. This time, his towel falls down.

“Whoops!” says Larry.

“THIS IS A FAMILY FILM, LARRY!” yells Archibald.

****

We cut to black and fade in yet again.

“Hairbrush song, take four… action!”

Larry pulls back the curtain.

“Um… why doesn’t the showerhead work?”

“Cut!” Archibald says to an audibly frustrated crew. “Larry, it’s a part of the film set, it’s not supposed to work.”

****

We cut to black and fade in… again.

“Hairbrush song, take five… action.”

Larry pulls back the curtain and leaps out of the bathtub. He lifts up a hairbrush victoriously.

“I found the hairbrush!”

The crew groans.

“Cut!” yells is disgruntled Archibald. “Where did Larry get the hairbrush?! It’s not even a prop! The characters are only meant to reference it!”

At this point, Bob The Tomato comes onto the set to help Larry.

“What’s going on?” he asks.

“I don’t what I’m doing wrong, Bob.”

“Okay, just… why don’t you breath in, try remember all your lines and actions, and give it another go… God made you special, Larry.”

“Yeah, Bob! I can do this! God made me special!”

“He sure did, Larry…”

****

We cut to black and fade in, hopefully for the last time.

“Hairbrush song… take six… action.”

Larry pulls back the curtain, leaps out of the bathtub, and begins to dance, singing, “Oh, where is my hairbrush! Oh, where is my hairbrush!”

A moment goes by before the crew starts celebrating. They got the take. Larry stands there in confusion, and Bob runs onto the set once more.

“You did it, Larry!”

“…We got the take!”

“Yes, we got the take!”

“We got the take!”

The two begin to celebrate on the film set. Larry celebrates a little too hard, and the music cuts out when Larry jumps through the thin wall of the set by accident. “I’m okay!” he shouts.

Bob slowly looks directly into the camera and says…

“…Cut.”

The music comes back in as we sharp cut to black. The title appears:

VEGGIES IN THE RAIN: A VEGGIETALES MOVIE

The music stops again as we hard cut to the film set again. Bob peers into the hole in the film set’s wall.

“Are you sure you’re okay, Larry?”

No response.

“Oh dear,” Bob says as he rushes offscreen.

A quick, bombastic note from the brass symphony is played as we sharp cut to the release date information—April 2nd, Y5.

Please welcome to the stage the stars of the upcoming Two Lonely Bounty Hunters, Sophia Lillis and Academy Award winner Charlie Day.

Day: Well shoot, they ruined the surprise.

Lillis: I think most people know our film was coming out Charlie.

Day: I mean, not everyone knew.

Lillis: Whatever. The nominees in this category represent the finest that the field of animation has to offer. The winner of this evening will join the likes of Me and My Shadow, To The Moon, and The Number One Dime as an animated classic bound to withstand the test of time.

Day: So you’re saying Bounty Hamster won’t withstand the test of time?

Lillis: ...I didn’t say that.

Day: You implied it.

Lillis: You’re being paranoid. Everyone loved our film. Children of the present will show it to their children in the future and so on and so forth.

Day: I hope you’re right. Let’s also hope the winner in this category will do the same. Here are the nominees for Best Animated Feature:
