Krissykins
Evil Dead Rise could be exactly the same as the 2013 film then ~£1.4m.

Krissykins
Yay, Evil Dead Rise got the franchise record then. Friday 29th releases: George Foreman The Unlikely Pilgrimage Of Harold Fry Polite Society Polite Society has a big outdoor campaign, have seen plenty of billboards. Trailer for Harold Fry a few times. Only YouTube ads for George Foreman.
Jonwo
Air is likely going to be a £4-5m total which is very good for this type of film.
Krissykins
Bank holiday Monday and not very nice weather, should be good news for cinemas, well for holdovers. 3 bank holiday weekends in May this year, GOTG3 and The Little Mermaid will benefit from them on their openings. Ipickthiswhiterose
Ponniyin Selvan 2 looking like a pretty significant run in the UK - not surprising given the buzz in the screening of 1 I went to. Looking like a good hold for Evil Dead. Anecdotal experience is that word of mouth has been convincing people to go - might hoover up a bit of younger audience this weekend. I almost can't believe the Polite Society number is that bad in a literal sense. Like, I almost can't buy it coming below George Foreman and the second week of Missing. If P-S 2 has murdered Polite Society by taking the entire subcontinental family and blockbuster demographic then that's one of the dumbest pieces of scheduling of recent times, surely.

Not down here, absolutely glorious, sunny and warm, first 20 degree day of the year, definitely wouldn’t be in the cinema. Looks packed everywhere outside

Such a shame, I just saw it (in an empty screen) and it’s actually a genuinely fun film. It doesn’t help though that some cinemas near me haven’t even given it an evening showing…

UKBoxOffice
Strong Sunday for everything. With today being a Bank Holiday it makes the Sunday act more like a Saturday. Mario was £3m for the weekend. 1
