If they’d rushed out a new Bond movie with a new lead 2-3 years after Craig’s finale, it’d have felt weird. Letting some time pass will make it easier for the new actor to face less comparative scrutiny.

Krissykins
£3m for Trolls, but well down on the £5.5m start of the 2016 original with almost the exact same release date. Still the weekend was an increase on last weekend so that’s good. “ Barbie is finally dancing her way out of UK-Ireland cinemas after 14 weekends, adding £5,819. It has £95.5m as the fifth-highest-grossing film of all time in the territory; and as the highest-grossing film directed by a woman, 2023 release and Warner Bros release among its many other records“ Incredible for Barbie.
Krissykins
Went to see It Lives Inside yesterday but it was forgettable. Screen Daily didn’t separate Leo’s previews for some reason. They usually do. Edited October 23, 2023 by Krissykins

themadagascarmaster
I went to a screening of Trolls on Friday and I really enjoyed it even though I was the only one in the screening so I’m glad it managed to be at the top at the weekend despite it being quite a bit under the first film’s opening UK weekend.
