RthDeadWov
Where did Odeon Leceister Square chart? Quite interesting that the VUE Westfield does better than the VUE in Stratford but I guess in a better location. Not surprised that Cineworld Sheffield and Glasgow are the top two non London cinemas. 10th not as big with this one.
JCS
any of you guys enjoyed the vue extreme screens? bloody shit and expensive Yeah I quite like them. Was a discussion a few pages back.
SchumacherFTW
I want to try out some more IMAXs, i've only been to the pukka one at the BFI and the cineworld Liemax in Crawley. Wouldn't mind checking out an xtreme screen either. And Odeon's iSense too.

Biggest liemax i have been to is Swiss cottage. Their screen is second only to BFI Imax if i recall correctly. Bigger than the one in greenwich odeon anyhow

After going to a Tron: Legacy preview back in 2010 my mate and I rushed over to the O2 so that we could see Saw 3D before we came back to Hastings. We somehow managed to get in to the VIP section there without realising. How big is that screen from the cheap seats?

Best seats i found were If i recall correctly best view where the stairs start for the higher seats. Think it was 3-4 row higher than the barrier. I'll probably go see Star Trek 2 so will have a better look. Last film i saw there was Xmen First Class, so a bit hazy on the seating:) Wouldn't recommend balcony seating though as from what friends as it seems you're looking down at the screen. Heretic
The few midnight showings for STiD around me are looking quite full... IM3 got £2.3m on OD, I think this can manage close to £2m.
Heretic
Sold out midnight show somewhere in the UK.

The Dark Alfred
I have ST at £11.5m for the 4-day. Surely will beat IM3's total, Marvel will fail to overtake Les Mis,

Heretic
My rough prediction: Thu: £1.9m ($2.9m) Fri: £2.5m ($3.9m) +32% Sat: £3.6m ($5.6m) +42% Sun: £2.7m ($4.2m) -25% £10.7m ($16.5m) opening. I'd say a $15-17m range.

Sam
That's a good number for Trek, right? It opens on Thursday, yet number is on par with Friday opening for the last one? Should have good hold/jump over the 3-day weekend? Edited May 10, 2013 by Sam

druv10
Damn, my hope for 400M OS for STID is taking a big hit. 300M OS seems the target now.
Heretic
That's a solid number, but not as much as I was hoping. We'll see, it could have some big increases over the weekend, anything over £9m for its opening is great.
Heretic
Actually I'd say it's heading for £8-9m ($12.4-14m) for its opening, which is good, but not amazing.
