According to the reports by Taran Adarsh, Jab Tak Hai Jaan opened at No. 1 in New Zealand, and beat ETT's UK collection of £96,663 with a whopping £ 158,342 in first day. In Australia, ETT made A$72,617, while JTHJ scored A$ 77,334 on the same day.

Pre-sales are looking really strong around my area for The Hobbit. I didn't really expect to see much in the way of pre-sales until a couple of weeks before release, but at my cinema there are a few shows that are already close to selling out.Naturally, the BFI IMAX has nearly sold out OW.

WOW! That's huge!With the same multiplier as BD1, it'd do £15-15.5m.

As expected, £15M was the minimum OW we estimated.

£100m is really 50/50 at the moment for Skyfall. It should be around £82.5m after this weekend, so it'd require another £17.5m or so...

Going to be very close indeed, much better chance of beating Avatar first so we will see if it does that.

How many people on here from the UK have seen BD2, or are planning to?

No way, would not pay to see it.
