I'm excited to see Evil on CBS, created by Michelle and Robert King, from The Good Wife, The Good Fight and the short lived (and criminally underrated) Braindead. It premieres tomorrow.

Anyone watch Stumptown yet?  It's probably the one new network show I was willing to give a look to.

I watched it last night. Quite liked it! Glad to see Cobie Smulders finally get a proper vehicle.

 

Will be checking out the first episode or two of The Politician tonight.

Didn't realize until now how busy this TV month will be for me. Gonna be watching all of the following:

 

Final season of Mr. Robot

Batwoman

Living with Yourself

Modern Love

Watchmen

Mrs. Fletcher

 

Plus the Breaking Bad movie. Lots to look forward to.

First episode of Evil was excellent. Michelle and Robert King always deliver. Please give it a chance, don't let this show get cancelled.

I wasn't getting the apple streaming service anyways but those 15 second youtube ads for their original shows are terrible.

Is there a thread for Netflix's Dark? 

 

It's a great show produced in Germany and season 2 aired a few months ago. Would recommend for people who like that genre (scifi/time travel). The time travel stuff is done really well.

Use the search feature and if there's no thread for a TV show just start one.  There doesn't seem to be one for Dark.

 

New Stan Originals.  Stan (2.6 million subscribers) is #2 in Australia behind Netflix (11m subscribers).

Avenue 5 is terrible.  The first episode has a few humorous moments moments but overall is quite flat and dull.

It doesn't look like a show that should be on HBO.    I'll have to watch a couple episodes and decide if its worth my viewing time.

It just felt to forced like they were trying to hard to land jokes that were far from funny to begin with.  Maybe it will settle into a better rhythm after a few episodes.
