narniadis
The weekend will be impacted without argument. I think everyone is missing that Jedi was referring to the week? If anything its needs to be flipped since he has week 6 dropping from week 5 when it should be flat or increase. With the post weekend being holiday all the way there is definitely a historical option (not a guarantee obviously) for it to be flat / very minutely decrease for the whole 7 day period.
Legion Again
Agree with @misafeco and narniadis here. TROS weekend will be unavoidably impacted, but holiday timing could keep keep TROS week pretty flat.

I don’t really see how they imagine this going down though. It’s 3.6M away, and even if the PTA was flat this weekend (will drop) it would turn in less than 1M. Maybe just want to get it within striking distance for a second push in holiday season proper, but will they really get much business for a Halloween vibe movie with Frozen, Jumanji, and Spies in Disguise in the Christmas corridor? They should have done a first push earlier and a second now to seal the deal. Edited December 5, 2019 by Arendelle Legion
misafeco
So until Dec 4, Frozen 2 already has a 200 million headstart over Frozen while still beating it in daily grosses. This weekend will tell us a lot about the chances for 500M DOM. Frozen reached the next 100 million on Christmas Eve. If Frozen 2 could do the same, I think it's safe to say it's going past 500M (or close enough for Disney to push it through the line).
