F2 338.1 cume

1.7 (-84%)

3.1 (+83%)

1.6 (-48%)

1.5 (-6%) // last Thu was -3%. JUM3 previews will have some effect, maybe more than this.

= 7.9 // 346.0 cume

4.5 (+200%)

9.7 (+115%)

6.8 (-30%)

= 21.0 (-40%) // 367.0 cume

With Jumanji - a family movie - coming next weekend, I'm not entirely sold on a 200+ percent Friday increase for F2. If it couldn't do it this past Friday than definitely not next weekend. Ralph Breaks the Internet increased 188% on the same Friday last year (December 14). I'm setting my sights on around that number to avoid disappointment.

that's reasonable. thu drop could also be ~10%. would lead to a 19 weekend (-46%) instead of 21 (-40%).

This upcoming weekend will be interesting to see how screen loss affects F2. Three wide releases is going to hit it in terms of screen loss if not theater loss.

In its favor is that there are tons of other films to take from, in the negative it has the most space to give up lol. It should have one of the best holds screen wise with holdovers just based on sheer amount of money being made.

Not sure if its worth much but F2 is dropping around 43% at MTC1 from last monday and slightly over 85% from sunday. At MTC2 I dont have weekly comps but it dropped just over 80%. Let us see how national numbers are as yesterday they were way off the mark. But since its a school day I am expecting it to have sold fewer kids tickets. So let us see it does better than MTC1 suggests.

Do you think it can stay above $10M when Star Wars opens?

i guess it can. coco marginally fell under when sw8 opened.

Dec 8, 2017 1 $18,452,315 -33% 3,748 $4,923   $135,658,005 3
Dec 15, 2017 3 $9,949,471 -46% 3,155 $3,154   $150,735,367 4

if f2 gets 18.5 like coco this weekend, it's cume will be ~365.

coco then added 74 to it's cume which gives f2 439
